The Wildlife Habitat is here!
(Please note, this new feature is slowly rolling out. If you don’t have it on your farm yet, you are not crazy, it’s on its way so hold tight. )

FarmVille Wildlife Breeding is Here Notice

The Wildlife Habitat is the latest animal breeding facility to hit FarmVille. It’s a place for you to store your Wildlife, breed them, and even find new Mystery Baby Animals! Of course you can also “harvest” your Wildlife Habitat to collect Farm Coins and Mastery Points.
After you have access to this new feature you will be greeted by a new face, a zoologist, who wants to help you open your farm’s Wildlife Habitat! For those of you FarmVille Freaks that have an existing Animal Feed Trough on your farm, we learn more good news! The Wildlife Habitat will replace the otherwise pretty useless (other than taking up space on your farm) Animal Feed Trough. If you don’t have an Animal Feed Trough because you’ve already sold it prior to this update, no worries you can still get your Wildlife Habitat. So far so good, right?

Zynga informs us that the Wildlife Habitat is the first of six new animal facilities “coming soon”. Exciting! So without further adue let’s get to the guide and how this new building with purpose works.
Placing and Constructing Your Wildlife Habitat
To start building your Wildlife Habitat simply place it on your farm. If you need to clear some space that’s ok, just find the frame in your Gift Box after you prepped the ground cover.

Collecting Building Supplies

There are several ways to obtain building supplies for your Wildlife Habitat.

• 1. Send and receive building supplies for free via the FarmVille Free Gifts Page.
• 2. Find free building supplies on your Facebook News Feed from neighbors’ shares.
• 3. Use the “Ask for Parts” button. (May use button every 4 hours.)
• 4. Purchase directly with Farm Cash via the FarmVille Market.

After your construction is complete, you will receive a free Porcupine animal to get you started. The Porcupine was a previous Farm Cash animal obtained through Mystery Game. Remember, the more animals that your Wildlife Habitat houses, the more chance you have at finding a Mystery Baby when harvesting your Wildlife Habitat (more on Mystery babies later).

You are able to own more than one Wildlife Habitat buildings to house your Wildlife and a total of 20 Wildlife animals can be placed per each Wildlife Habitat.

Breeding with your Wildlife Habitat
Several Wildlife animals can be bred using your Wildlife Habitat. These animals include:

• Deer
• Frogs
• Porcupines
• Squirrels
• Reindeer
• Skunks
• Raccoons
• Opossums
• Woodchucks

“Looking Inside” your Wildlife Habitat & Menu
Click on your completed Wildlife Habitat and you will see the option to “Look Inside”. Looking inside your habitat takes you to its menu where you will be able to see all animals housed inside your habitat, their mastery status, as well as animals that you don’t have but qualify for Wildlife Habitat housing (these animals will appear translucent). You will also be able to view Mystery Babies that are available from friends indicated by the small sunshine when your mouseover an animal with your cursor.

The Scoop on Mystery Babies
Finding Mystery Babies in your Wildlife Habitat
Mystery Babies can be found whenever you harvest your Wildlife Habitat. It is not necessary to have a pair of animals to find a Mystery Baby. You just need one of a Wildlife animal to find its Mystery baby. Just as other animal housing, your Wildlife Habitat will have a pink indicator above it when it is ready to be harvested.

The more animals housed inside your Wildlife Habitat, the more chance you have at finding a Mystery Baby. If you “find” a Mystery Baby upon harvesting your habitat, you will be able to share ONE of the same type of Mystery Baby with your friends via the Facebook News Feed. What happens when you don’t find a Mystery Baby after harvesting? You will instead be rewarded with Farm Coins and Animal Feed.
Some Mystery Babies are only available through friends, which can be “adopted” via the Facebook News Feed.
Rare vs. Common Mystery Babies
1. Rare Mystery Babies: Rare Mystery Babies will have a Pink Baby Bundle and will include previous Limited Edition items that are worth less than 15 Farm Cash as well as Common Mystery Game prizes. (Hold complaints until you finish the guide and tell us how you really feel in the comments, just remember  that  we are not Zynga).

• Rare Mystery Babies require 30 bags of Animal Feed to grow into an adult.

2. Common Mystery Babies: Common Mystery Babies will have a Green Baby Bundle and will include previous Farm Coin animals, Lonely animals (adoptables), and animals that were once Quest Rewards.

• Common Mystery Babies require 10 bags of Animal Feed to grow into an adult.

Please note, not all animals are currently available and more animals will be added in the future.

Growing a Mystery Baby
As mentioned above, Mystery Babies will grow up into either rare or common adult animals depending on the color of their Baby Bundle. The Baby Bundle’s color indicated which type (Rare or Common) the Mystery Animal will be. Just remember Pink=Rare and Green=Common.
After you find a Mystery Baby you will be able to place your new baby on your farm and start nurturing it so that it can grow into an adult. Unlike other FarmVille baby animals (Lambs and Piglets) your Wildlife baby animal does not drink bottles! Nope, it requires Animal Feed to help it grow. Animal Feed was previously used with the FarmVille Feed Trough to attract Lonely animals and has been repurposed for Mystery Baby animals.
Clicking on your Mystery Baby animal will give you several options to grow your baby into an adult.
How to Grow a Mystery Baby into Adult

• Feed baby Animal Feed (10 or 30 bags of Animal Feed ).
• “Ask for Feed” by posting a Facebook News Feed share for friends to help.
• Finding free Animal Feed from friends’ Facebook News Feed shares.
• Using “Complete Now” button uses Farm Cash to directly purchase and bypass the feeding requirements.
